Typically not the best, but whoever is in the right place at the right time. Studio One and Cubase are fighting for the lead.Įventually one daw will become the standard. When you play by those rules, more than one person can tango in that arena. Its plainly obvious that C10 Pro is worth a lot more than $200 and they are heavily under cutting to gain market share and skewing the DAW market in the process. I think any marketing director worth their ilk would plainly agree Steinberg are playing a very dirty game.
I am secretly hoping some of the other vendors that make DAWs geared for one man bands strike back with a promo of their own. i just dont know if i need it given that i dont record 20 member bands and might be overkill for a one man shop like me. Try to snoop the error logs and see what might be causing it. I exported main mix, saved it and it quit normally, started it up just now and it won't start at all, it's stuck on scanning vst3 plugins.I CTRL ALT DEL it 4 times it's doing the same thing, I can't open it at all now.99% of problems stem from 3rd party plugins. It was working fine this morning I was working on the same project as two days ago I hadn't inserted any new plugins I was just mixing and saving.
I really wish there was a report or at least something at the bottom of the screen that shows what is causing it to freeze. I know it's probably a certain plugin that's doing this but I wish I knew which one it was so that I can remove it myself, apart from NI and cubase plugins on this project I used Nomad Factory Cosmos and Magnetic and Klanghelm compressor.
Windows 10 pro, too many plugins to list I mostly use NI, PSP, Nomad Factory, SK note and cubase stuff and the rest are freebies which I don't use much but all are 64bit.
